[Oa-italia] Survey: Peer reviewers, expectations and challenges

with this email, we kindly ask five minutes of your time, to fill a short
survey, proposed by ReviewerCredits at this Url: https://goo.gl/E1Nnhd

*What is ReviewerCredits?*
Scientists and researchers can subscribe to www.reviewercredits.com and get
recognition for all the peer reviews they perform. ReviewerCredits keeps a
history of all the reviews performed and assigns the reviewers a Reviewer
Index.
After subscribing to the website, researchers can fill a claim for each
review performed in the previous six months. We verify that the review has
been performed by asking a confirmation from the journal. This step is
essential in the process to create a solid and reliable history of reviews
performed. Upon confirmation from the Editor, the review is added to the
personal account of the reviewer.


*Who funds ReviewerCredits?*ReviewerCredits does not receive any external
funds yet. Its developers solely support it.


*How long does the survey take?*No more than five minutes*, *we value your
time. It will we open util *february 20, 5 pm* (CET)

*What is this survey about?*
The survey aims to learn more about the expectations of peer reviewers, as
well as the struggles that they face.

*How will the results be used?*
This questionnaire is totally anonymus and your responses will only be
considered in aggregate form. We aim to submit an abstract, with the main
results of the survey, at the upcoming "2017 International Peer Review
Congress". The results will also be made available on our website after the
conference (i.e. september 2017). Finally, your responses will be used to
improve the service we provide through our website (www.reviewercredits.com
).
