Over the last ten years, Open Access to scientific publications has
become a movement of increasing interest. Many questions are still on
the floor for discussion. With this evolution in mind, the F.R.S.-FNRS
will organize a workshop on Open Access to be held on *Wednesday the
28th of September 2011 in Brussels. *You are hereby cordially invited to
this event.

The audience will consist of scientists, policy makers and politicians.
This workshop, will among others tackle subjects such as:

-Financial implications of green and gold roads

-Should publicly funded academic knowledge be freely available to all

-Policy and role of funding agencies

-Editors' point of view

-Berlin and Budapest Declarations : follow-up

-Quality peer review for open access publications

Please note the *28^th of September* in your diaries. Registration will
be possible at the end of August on our website, which will also provide
more detailed information about the programme, the speakers and
practical details.

We look forward to welcoming you at this event!

Kind regards
