Segnalo questo interessante articolo dal titolo "Beyond institutional 
repositories" alla lista.

L'idea degli autori, Chris Armbruster e Laurent Romary, è quella di 
creare dei depositi come infrastrutture di servizi digitali aggregate su 
base geografica, istituzionale ( ad esempio i consorzi) o disciplinare 
per comunità di pratica ben definite. Quest'ultima idea di repository è 
quella messa in atto da Kultur, il repository interistituzionale 
dedicato all'arte del quale si è già parlato in lista. Altri esempi di 
repositories cooperativi sono Hal del CRNS francese e SciDoc della Max 
Planck Gesellschaft e FIZ Karlsruhe.

Secondo gli autori i bibliotecari svolgono un ruolo essenziale per il 
successo di queste piattaforme.
