    <p>L'European University Association ha organizzato un webinar dove
      presenterà i risultati dell'indagine effettuata alcuni mesi fa
      sullo stato dell'arte dei contratti "big deal "sottoscritti dalle
      istituzioni membre dell'EUA e il caso di studio di un paese in
      particolare.  Obiettivo : comprendere e discutere le implicazioni
      dei  contratti big deal nel contesto della scienza aperta.<br>

              </strong>Open Science and open access to research
              publications are evolving at high speed and are changing
              scientific practices, namely in the usage and
              dissemination of research. Open science furthermore
              promises more efficiency and transparency of public
              investments in research and research results. In this
              context, EUA has conducted a first mapping exercise on
              large scientific publishing contracts, also known as ‘Big
              Deals’, in Europe from universities’ perspective. This
              webinar will present the main outcomes of the EUA ‘Big
              Deals’ Survey, a case study from a European country and
              discuss the implications of ‘Big Deal’ contracts for
              universities in an open science era.<strong><br>
