Segnalo a proposito del progetto LEARN di cui avevo scritto in un
messaggio di qualche giorno fa, sottoriportato che sono disponibili
le presentazioni del seminario che si è tenuto presso l'Università
di Vienna lo scorso 6 aprile<br>

Tutte le relazioni sono state molto interessanti, in particolare
quella di Andreas RAuber sull'individuazione dei dati dinamici e
delle loro citazioni e quella di Gerhard Budin sull'esempio di una
piattaforma virtuale di ricerca implementata all'Università di
Vienna nell'ambito della ricerca linguistica che si avvale
dell'infrastruttura dell'iniziativa CLARIN. Interessante nel caso
di quest'ultima l'infrastruttura virtuale attivata tra persone con
background professionale diverso descritto dalla slide 24 in poi.
Le prime 23 descrivono la metodologia della ricerca condotta
sull'uso del tedesco in Austria, interessante anche quella!<br>

come tutti sapete il tema della gestione dei dati della
ricerca è all'ordine del giorno in molti istituzioni di
ricerca, tema già affrontato da diverso tempo in enti di
ricerca che producono e/o raccolgono dati, ma di recente
interesse per gli atenei.<br>

La Commissione europea con Horizon 2020 ha lanciato il
progetto pilota sui dati aperti della ricerca (2015-2016) che
vede coinvolti anche diversi atenei italiani come coordinatori
di tali progetti e a partire da gennaio 2017 tutti i progetti
finanziati da Horizon 2020 che raccolgono, producono,
analizzano dati dovranno presentare un data management plan e
rendere accessibili i dati quando possibile o per meglio dire
ad accesso aperto come default e chiusi quando necessario.<br>

Pertanto in molte istituzioni la gestione e la curation dei
dati, le infrastrutture ad essi connessi, l'accesso ai dati,
le citazioni dei dati, dei dati dinamici, la conservazione a
lungo termine, gli aspetti legati alla sicurezza,
confidenzialità ecc. il riuso, le licenze, l'elaborazione
delle policy per la gestione dei dati della ricerca, la
formazione delle nuove figure professionali stanno ponendo
domande pressanti a cui dare risposte.<br>

La LERU, l'organizzazione che comprende alcune tra le
principali università europea di ricerca, per l'Italia ne è
membro l'Università Statale di Milano è molto impegnata anche
sull'Open Science oltre che sull'accesso aperto alle
pubblicazioni.<br>
Ha elaborato una ROAD MAP for Research Data <a

nel 2013 alla cui implementazione ciascun membro sta
lavorando.<br>

Di recente ha presentato e vinto un progetto europeo
finanziato nel programma Horizon 2020 denominato LEARN
(Leaders Activating Research Networks) a cui partecipano 4 dei
suoi membri (le università di Vienna, UCL, Università di
Barcellona, LIBER e UNELAC per l'America Latina e Caraibi )
Il progetto fornirà un modello di policy per la gestione della
ricerca dei dati, un toolkit per l'implementazione del modello
e poi un documento informativo tradotto in diverse lingue.<br>

fine di creare degli strumenti utili per i soggetti
interessati sono previsti dei workshop (il secondo si è
tenuto ieri a Vienna a cui hanno partecipato anche le
università di Venezia e di Milano e la sottoscritta) ma
anche delle indagini esplorative. Una di queste è in
corso adesso, riporto il messaggio in calce inviatoci da
LEARN; facciamola circolare nelle nostre istituzioni, o
meglio portiamola all'attenzione di chi di queste cose
dovrà necessariamente occuparsene. L'indagine è rivolta
anche a chi non ha ancora una policy o una strategia.<br>
