ROAD e' un progetto dell'ISSN cofinanziato da UNESCO. Vi si trovano<br>
tutte le risorse identificate da un ISSN (journals, monographic series,<br>
proceedings, academic repositories, scholarly blogs).<br>
Molto interessante la possibilita' di ricercare un journal in base ai<br>
database nei quali e' indicizzato (Scopus e molti altri).<br>
L'intera Directory ROAD e' Open Access, tutti i dati sono esportabili in<br>
formato RDF/PRESSoo. E' una importante porzione del Registro ISSN che,<br>
per la prima volta, viene resa disponibile gratuitamente.<br>
<br>
ROAD viene alimentato direttamente dal Registro ISSN per tutte le nuove<br>
risorse per le quali viene richiesto un nuovo ISSN, e che sono indicate<br>
come OA o gratuite. Tutto il pregresso, prima del 2014, e' stato<br>
recuperato attraverso DOAJ e altre fonti, con un attento lavoro di<br>
recupero. E' possibile inviare al Centro Nazionale ISSN una segnalazione<br>
nel caso in cui una risorsa di cui siete editori e che e' stata<br>
registrata prima del 2014 non appaia in ROAD. E' facile controllare se<br>
un blog, o un archivio istituzionale, o un journal e' in ROAD,<br>
selezionando Italia come paese.<br>

The homepage has been fully redesigned with, among others, a larger map<br>
constructed as to represent the geographic areas of the UNESCO Global<br>
Open Access Portal<br>

(partner of the ROAD project), and a new colours palette.<br>

This new version of ROAD gives also access to an additional heading<br>
devoted to statistics about Open Access worldwide (see<br>
<a href="http://road.issn.org/en/statistics" target="_blank">http://road.issn.org/en/statistics</a>) and to a RDF dump of ROAD records.<br>
This RDF dump is based on the PRESSoo model developed by the ISSN<br>
International Centre and the French National Library in 2013 (see<br>
<a href="http://road.issn.org/en/contenu/download-road-records" target="_blank">http://road.issn.org/en/contenu/download-road-records</a>).<br>
<br>
Last but not least, the Schema.org markup has been added to the ROAD<br>
pages which describe Open Access resources so as to make it easier for<br>
people to find these pages on the web.<br>
