Per chi non ne avesse ancora letta la notizia, sono lieta di
comunicarvi che l'iniziativa OpenAIRE è stata rifinanziata nel
programma Horizon 2020; la nuova fase avra' inizio nel gennaio
2015.<br>
<div class="moz-forward-container"><br>
Il nome del nuovo progetto è OpenAIRE2020, avrà la durata di 42
mesi (Gennaio 2015- Maggio 2018); il progetto <span
style="text-align: justify;"> continuerà le attività in
qualità di infrastruttura per l'implementazione delle politiche
di obbligo di deposito previste in Horizon 2020 (100% OA delle
pubblicazioni) </span><span style="text-align: justify;">e del
Progetto Pilota sui dati della Ricerca, ma intende inoltre
sperimentare nuove forme di comunicazione scientifica,
rafforzare la collaborazione internazionale e lavorare per la
costituzione di OpenAIRE come entità giuridica.</span><br>
Per raggiungere questi obiettivi il progetto vede la
partecipazione questa volta di un numero più alto si tratta di
partecipanti, si tratta di 50 istituzioni provenienti dai paesi
dell'Unione Europa e non solo, tutti impegnati a promuovere la
comunicazione scientifica aperta e a migliorare in modo
sostanziale la scoperta (discoverability) e la riusabilità delle
pubblicazioni scientifiche e dei dati della ricerca tramite una
robusta infrastruttura tecnica e umana. Vi parteciperanno 33
National OA desk, 6 partner tecnologici, 10 organizzazioni e/o
università che si occupano di comunicazione scientifica <big><big><small>(tra
cui <small>LIBER, COAR, EiFL</small></small></big></big><small><small><small><small><small><small><small><small><small><big><big><big><big><big><big><big><big><big><big><small>
, SURF, oltre alle
università di Gottinga,
Minho, University College

Per l'Italia, i partner sono il CNR -ISTI, partner tecnologico
principale del progetto, e CINECA in qualità National Open Access
Desk.<br>
Una volta partito il progetto, in qualità di National Open Access
Desk organizzaremo una serie di attività informative/formative, di
promozione legate ai vari aspetti relativi alla implementazione
dei requisiti OA di Horizon 2020. Ricordo inoltre che il nuovo
catalogo della ricerca CINECA, IRIS è conforme ai requisiti OA di
OpenAIRE. E questo è gia un buon punto di partenza!<br>

year after the start of EC’s Horizon 2020 framework
programme, OpenAIRE enters a new phase of funding with
OpenAIRE2020, an EC funded project starting in January
2015. Continuing the existing practice,
OpenAIRE will ensure that the wealth of Europe's
scientific research is made open and intelligently
accessible to all. OpenAIRE2020 will implement the
