cui pių del 13% vede la partecipazione di autori afferenti ad
istituzione italiane. La media sarā di circa 500 articoli al
mese. Sia i metadati sia i contenuti (full text) sono coperti da
licenze CC rispettivamente CC-0 e CC -BY, pertanto ciascun
articolo č liberamente accessibile a tutti e aperto al riuso;
gli articoli sono disponibili ad accesso aperto sia sulla
piattaforma di SCOAP3 sia sulla piattaforma dell'editore. </font></font><font
face="Times New Roman, serif"><font size="3"> <font face="Times
New Roman, serif"><font size="3">Ciascun articolo </font></font><font
face="Times New Roman, serif"><font size="3">č </font></font><font
face="Times New Roman, serif"><font size="3">corredato dal DOI
e dall’ID Researcher di ORCID quando disponibile. <br>

</font></font> Lo scopo di questo repository che non duplica
ArXiv, nč fornisce i servizi aggiunti di INSPIRE č quello di
essere il luogo di raccolta, conservazione, ma soprattutto di
distribuzione/disseminazione degli articoli tramite il
protocollo OAI-PMH e l'erogazione di servizi quali alert, feed e
accesso tramite API. </font></font><br>

Si tratta di una versione beta, ci sono ancora di miglioramenti da
apportare alla ricerca avanzata e come potete immaginare ci sono
ancora un po' di problemi con la standardizzazione dei nomi dei
singoli autori e delle istituzioni. <br>
<br>
Provate a fare delle ricerche nel campo " Affiliation", utilizzando
l'operatore booleano OR; inserendo Italy or Italia, oppure il nome
della vostra istituzione in italiano e in inglese.<br>

L'Italia č uno dei 17 partner del progetto tramite l'INFN e vede la
partecipazione tramite il coordinamento dell'INFN delle biblioteche
di oltre 40 istituzioni univesitarie e accademiche.<br>

SCOAP3 Repository Launches in Beta.

<div>The SCOAP3 repository is now available at <<a

<div>This beta version of the SCOAP3 repository contains all
articles funded by SCOAP3 in several formats, including PDF, PDF/A
and XML. All articles are published under a CC-BY <<a
href="http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/">http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/</a>>
license and can be freely downloaded and further disseminated. The
repository metadata is also available under a CC0 <<a
href="http://creativecommons.org/publicdomain/zero/1.0/">http://creativecommons.org/publicdomain/zero/1.0/</a>>
license. Around 500 articles per month appear in the repository,
immediately upon publication in 10 journals by 11 publishers and
learned societies <<a href="http://scoap3.org/scoap3journals">http://scoap3.org/scoap3journals</a>>.</div>

<div>The scope of the SCOAP3 repository is neither to duplicate
arXiv <<a href="http://arxiv.org/">http://arxiv.org/</a>>
nor the publisher platforms, nor offer value-added services such
as those of INSPIRE <<a href="http://inspirehep.net/">http://inspirehep.net/</a>>.
Facilitated by the articles’ CC-BY <<a
href="http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/">http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/</a>>
license, the repository is a staging platform, for further
distribution of information, and a way for participating
institutions to assess the benefits of SCOAP3 to their scientific
communities.</div>

from the repository will enable SCOAP3 partners to build dedicated
feeds and alerts, as well as leveraging API access to populate
other repositories. At a later stage, we will improve author
attribution, in partnership with participating publishers, INSPIRE
<<a href="http://inspirehep.net/">http://inspirehep.net/</a>>
and ORCID <<a href="http://orcid.org/">http://orcid.org/</a>>,
and handling of affiliations, with the input and support of the
SCOAP3 community.</div>
<div>SCOAP3 is operated at CERN and run <<a
href="http://scoap3.org/scoap3-governance">http://scoap3.org/scoap3-governance</a>>
by an international collaboration that is re-directing funds
previously used for subscriptions, with the support of partners in
17 countries <<a
href="http://scoap3.org/participating-countries">http://scoap3.org/participating-countries</a>>.
Partners in eight more countries <<a
href="http://scoap3.org/future-partners">http://scoap3.org/future-partners</a>>
are about to formalize their participation in SCOAP3.</div>

<div>SCOAP3 invites additional participation <<a

U.S. universities, library consortia in Latin America, and further
key institutions in the Asia-Pacific region, as well as libraries
across Europe, Africa and the Middle East. Funds to support SCOAP3
are available through reductions in library expenses which are
being implemented by participating publishers.</div>
