conferenza conclusiva del progetto MedOANet
(<a class="moz-txt-link-freetext" href="http://wwe.medoanet.eu">http://wwe.medoanet.eu</a>), organizzata dal National
Documentation Centre/EKT di Atene, coordinatore leader del
progetto. La conferenza č inserita nella terza conferenza
internazionale greca organizata da EKT dedicata all'OA
(16-18 Ottobre).<br>

<p><span style="font-family: verdana, geneva;"
class="font-size-2">L'obiettivo della conferenza MedOANet č
presentare i risultati del progetto inserendoli nel contesto
pių ampio delle politiche di open access in Europa e
partecipare al dibattito corrente sulle pratiche di
implementazione dell'A in Europa.<br>
</span></p>
<p><span style="font-family: verdana, geneva;"
class="font-size-2">L'evento porrā l'accento sulle migliori
pratiche per le implementazioni delle policy per quanto
attiene sia ai finanziatori della ricerca, sia alle
istituzioni di ricerca (universitā e centri di ricerca) ,
dedicherā una sessione al ruolo dell'OA nella ricerca
europea.<br>
All'incontro parteciperanno i rappresentanti della
Commissione Europea, rappresentanti di istituzioni europee
coinvolte nella realizzazone dell'area di ricerca
europea,tra cui l'European University Associatione, Leru,
League of European Research Universities e Science e
rappresentanti di enti finanziatori della ricerca e di
universitā e centri di ricerca dei 6 <br>
paesi coinvolti nel progetto.<br>
Per l'Italia sono previsti gli interventi di Juan Carlos De
Martin rispettivamente nella sessione dedicata alle
politiche nazionali sull'OA e di Elena Giglia nella sessione
dedicata alla implementazione delle policy delle istituzioni<br>

class="font-size-2">In occasione dell'evento verranno anche
presentate le linee-guida per la creazione, l'adozione delle
policy per i paesi del mediterraneo.<br>

<p><span style="font-family: verdana, geneva;"
class="font-size-2">The MedOANet European Conference will
take place at the National Documentation Centre / National
Hellenic Research Foundation in Athens, Greece, from 17 to
18 October 2013 during the International Open Access
Conference.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-family: verdana, geneva;"
class="font-size-2">The final conference of MedOANet will
serve to present the results of the project, placing them in
the wider European perspectives on Open Access policies, and
providing a forum for the current debate on Open Access
policy implementation practices within the EU. Specifically,
the final conference will focus on best practices in policy
implementation among research funders and research
performing institutions, as well as a discussion regarding
the role of open access within the European Research Area.
Speakers include representatives of the European Commission
and important stakeholders involved in the implementation of
the European Research Area such as the European University
Association, the League of European Research Universities
and Science Europe.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-family: verdana, geneva;"
class="font-size-2">The program of the International Open
Access Conference @ EKT will include presentations by
renowned experts and representatives from the areas of
research and Open Access. The conference is of special
interest for institutions that are involved in research
policy and research performing institutions.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-family: verdana, geneva;"
class="font-size-2">Máire Geoghegan-Quinn, Commissioner for
Research, Innovation and Science will address a video taped
opening message to the Conference.</span></p>
