La proposta riprendeva l'idea di Ben Martin e della Hicks di uno European index for the humanities. <br>Recentemente Martin a Venezia ci ha detto che lo studio preliminare non ha avuto seguito.<br>Ciò non toglie che se ci fossero i dati si potrebbe pensare di raccoglierli dai vari archivi.<br>
Olanda e Germania stanno lavorando su questi temi, e portando avanti progetti pilota.<br>Una lista dei buoni e dei cattivi non ha senso, criteri di qualità a cui fare riferimento per i singoli lavori secondo me sì.<br>Credo che nell'articolo di repubblica si confondano i due piani. Per l'editore si tratta di fare buoni prodotti vendibili per rientrare degli investimenti fatti. Per i ricercatori si tratta di diffondere le propria ricerca fra i pari.<br>
Ciò fa sì che spesso una collana non possa essere connotata come esclusivamente di ricerca, pur pubblicando lavori di ricerca a buon livello.<br>L'idea potrebbe essere quella di una griglia di riferimento (a cui sia editori che autori o istituzioni possano riferirsi appunto) : sui citeri di revisione in particolare, sulla diffusione ecc. da applicarsi caso per caso.<br>

Se non ricordo male era una delle proposte fatte dall'universita'
di Leiden dal Centre for Science and Technology Studies (CWTS) da <b><span style="font-weight:bold">Henk F. Moed</span></b>, durante la
conferenza di ElPUB che si e' tenuta a Milano nel 2009

Non so se la cosa stia andata avanti credo che comunque alcuni
aggregatori interessati ad entrare nel mondo delle citazioni e
coprire dell'aree finora non coperte per diverse ragioni da ISI Web
of Science e neppure da SCOPUS ci stiano pensando.<br>

Intanto vi inoltro questa notizia apparsa sul sito di SURF a
proposito di questo test di qualita' sulle riviste open access
sviluppato appunto da CWTS e dalle universita' di Amsterdam e

access journals is currently growing with more than a thousand
a year. To ensure that the quality of these journals is
guaranteed and at the same time give these new journals a fair
chance, an objective quality test – one that can be applied
internationally – is being developed for young journals.<u></u><u></u></span></p>

October 2012, the indicators will be assessed by a forum of
international experts, made up of representatives of research
funding bodies, the editors-in-chief of academic journals and
publishers. The measure will be established on the basis of
their opinion and then released. Publishers will then be able
to indicate the “score” that their journals have achieved. The
research funders can point the researchers to the score and
thereby encourage them to publish in open access. It will also
assist authors when deciding which journal to publish in. <u></u><u></u></span></p>
