le cifre dichiarate da Telethon sono: 200.000 euro l'anno per
sostenere la policy delle quali 180.000 vanno a coprire il
finanziamento alla pubblicazione ad accesso aperto e 20.000 coprono
i costi per il deposito in UKPMC (pare si debbano calcolare anche
quelli).<br>
Le fondazioni possono permettersi di finanziare la gold road e da
sempre anche Telethon sostiene che i costi di pubblicazione sono
costi di ricerca.<br>

In generale comunque credo che il discorso se la Green sia piu'
efficace della Gold vada legato alla comunità di ricerca, alle sue
pratiche nella comunicazione scientifica, alle culture "epistemiche"
di ogni comunità scientifica. Oggi non ha senso parlare in generale
di OA bisogna sempre discuterne in relazione alle comunità di
ricerca. Per la comunità biomedica la Gold e' una strada molto pu'
efficace della Green; se gli editori offrono questa opzione vale la
pena di sceglierla.<br>
