ha <span class="hps">"il diritto</span> <span class="hps">non
esclusivo di</span> mettere a disposizione<span class="hps"></span>
<span class="hps">articoli gli scientifici</span> <span
class="hps">scritti</span> <span class="hps">dai propri</span>
<span class="hps">docenti, prevendendo una deroga per i docenti </span><span
class="hps"> che lo chiedano espressamente. L'Universitą
autorizza i docenti a depositare copie dei loro articoli sui
loro siti web o sui siti web dell'Universita'.<br>

</span></span>At a September 19 meeting, Princeton’s Faculty
Advisory Committee on Policy adopted a new open access <a
href="http://www.cs.princeton.edu/%7Eappel/open-access-report.pdf">policy</a>
that gives the university the “nonexclusive right to make available
copies of scholarly articles written by its faculty, unless a
professor specifically requests a waiver for particular articles.”
<p>“The University authorizes professors to post copies of their
articles on their own web sites or on University web sites, or in
other not-for-a-fee venues,” the policy said.</p>
<p>“The main effect of this new policy is to prevent them from
giving away <em>all</em> their rights when they publish in a
journal.”</p>

Commento:<br>
Sarebbe stato meglio indicare l'archivio istituzionale come luogo
dove depositare.<span id="result_box" class="" lang="it"><span
class="hps">Harvard parla esplicitamente invece dell'archivio
istituzionale.<br>
Viene comunque affermato che lo scopo e' quello di prevenire
che tutti i diritti siano trasferiti quando si pubblica un
articolo.<br>
E' affermare questo punto mi sembra gia' un passo avanti.</span></span><br>
Come nel caso di Harvard vi e' stato un notevole lavoro preparatorio<br>
