ci sarà  inoltre un webinar sul ORCID, il webinar è organizzato da ORCID 
insieme con i servizi bibliotecari della Facoltà di Medicina di Lund in 
Svezia,  destinato agli uffici di ricerca, ai sistemi informativi e 
bibliotecari degli atenei che si terrà tra le 13.00 e le 14.00 su cosa 
significa avere un ORCID

Nell'invitare  tutti gli interessati a saperne di piu' su ORCID 
(_O_pen_R_esearcher &_Co_ntributor_ID_entifier) a seguirlo,  colgo 
l'occasione per ricordare che la stragrande maggioranza dei ricercatori 
italiani  è dotata di un identificativo ORCID per via del progetto 
IR.IDE (Anvur, CRUI, Cineca). Progetto che  aveva richiesto nell'estate 
del 2015,  in occasione della scorsa VQR, che tutti i ricercatori, che 
si sottoponevano all'esercizio di valutazione della ricerca,  si 
assegnassero un identificativo ORCID.   Attualmente oltre 80 enti 
italiani (tra università e istituzioni di ricerca) sono membri di ORCID 
tramite il contratto che Cineca ha stipulato per conto degli atenei e 
dell'ANVUR contratto tuttora vigente in base al quale tutti i membri 
usufruiscono di API a pagamento che permettono di integrare i propri 
sistemi informativi della ricerca, i propri archivi OA ed eventualmente 
altri servizi interni con ORCID in modo da attivare funzioni di 
importazione e di esportazione di metadati.
Purtroppo dal 2015 ad oggi molti profili italiani non sono stati mai 
attivati, molti ricercatori non hanno avuto modo di comprendere i 
vantaggi di avere un identificativo ORCID e spesso lo hanno al contrario 
associato ad "un' ennesima procedura" burocratica richiesta da ANVUR.

All'epoca del progetto I.R.IDE, Cineca si è incaricato di costruire il 
National Hub, tuttora in funzione, di  organizzare webinar, di tradurre 
le F.A.Q su ORCID in italiano; Per maggiori info:

Attualmente IRIS (il sistema informativo di gestione della ricerca- il 
current research information,utilizzato da circa 70 istituzioni 
italiane) dispone  della funzione di importazione da ORCID (Pull) in 
IRIS  di record relativi a pubblicazioni 
https://wiki.u-gov.it/confluence/display/public/UGOVHELP/ORCID+PULL e
anche la funzione di esportazione (Push)da IRIS verso ORCID dei metadati 
relativamente ai percorsi professionali, pubblicazioni e progetti ad 
ORCID, per attivare questa ultima  è necessario farne la richiesta al

Vi fornisco queste informazioni non con lo scopo di publicizzare i 
servizi Cineca, bensi' di far conoscere meglio ORCID in Italia, dal 
momento che molti iscritti della lista provengono da istituzioni che 
hanno IRIS o che hanno sottoscritto il contratto con ORCID.
