Si terrà a L'Aja, il 14 e 15 aprile 2011, l'IFLA Presidential Meeting 
2011, il cui titolo è "Libraries driving access to knowledge: action for 
Europe". Il 15 aprile, in particolare, si svolgerà la Session 3: Open 
Access and the Changing Role of Libraries, con le relazioni finora 
programmate:
  Relatore da definire, Education, Research and Development in Europe: 
How Libraries are Changing
  Relatore da definire, Why European Research and Education Policies 
must include Open Access
  Barbara Schleihagen, Open Access and Access through Public Libraries
  Bas Savenije, IFLA`s Position on and Future Activities Related to the 
Promotion of Open Access to Scholarly Literature.
